Are you looking for more precision? If so you don't want to throw so many behaviors at him before the reward. Get the heel tightened up and the swing turns also. Get each behavior good individually before you put them together. If not he's still looking good. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

I put the hours in consistently (given I still have to pay the bills and eat) with the dog but when he isn't getting full attention he will cry and cry and cry over his ball, he will sleep with it and punch with it at me 24/7. I have to store it in the freezer so he can get a break. i'm like what more can I do, how do I make you happy, it's weird, I want to satisfy my dogs but is there a point it is not drive anymore but dependence on the stupid ball? more work = wants even more work...and more, and more. not complaining I enjoy it, I just want the dog to act satisfied occasionally so I know I have done enough for him.

My older GSD (11) loves to fetch and train but he's always been a deep thinker and a serious, dignified dog. My younger GSD (7) is a total goofball that didn't want to return his kong when I tossed it till I taught the retrieve with markers. Now he's a squealer and in constant motion "play with me." Like your guy he's always slamming his kong into me. Anytime I even look like I'm going outside he starts banging it against the sliding glass door. "Come out and play, come out and play". He reminds me of my terriers. Hopefully he'll slow down in a year or.....5. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks
