I was wondering if anyone besides me is having difficulty in using the private message feature? I have been unable to use it at all for quite some time, now. I type a recipient's name in, and then it tells me to please choose a subject. So I type a subject in, and it tells me to choose a recipient. It just does not seem to recognize any name I type in. It used to be that when I would get just the first few letters typed, it would pop up with suggestions and I would click on the name I wanted and that was that. Now, I get no suggestions, I type the full name in, hit enter, and just continually get that message to choose a recipient.
I tried sending a p.m. to Bobbie at Leerburg IT to report this, and of course was unable to do so. So I hope somebody from the LB staff sees this.
Kelly, thanks. I hope IT will be able to look into it.
Betty, I'm sorry you're having trouble, too, but I'm kind of glad to hear that I'm not the only one.
Cathy, you sent me a P.M., which I received and responded to. Did you ever receive my response? It would be good to know if the problem is that I just can't initiate a P.M. message, or whether I can't send anything at all from my end.
IT is looking into the issue. From what I was able to gather, the code is rather old and may not be compatible with some browsers - or something like if there was a recent update installed it may be interfering with the code or not reading it correctly.
They are hoping to pinpoint the issue and rewrite the code, but it may be a while yet.
