My favorite vet will visit the house on Friday, at 0800 hours, and, together, we will ease the pain of a good and faithful friend. Brio, once known as Kleo von der Konigsgarde, will be at peace. 13 plus years, a rescue, from Germany. She helped with the training of other rescues who passed through here. Smart, and everything one would want from a companion. The next hours will be a celebration of her. And a time to prepare. And then, after, to the cabin for her to join Wolfgang, Maximus, Gustav and Freya, and Jake, one miserable cat. A hard decision but an ethical one. None the less, Painful. Mike A. It's hard - if it ever gets easy we need to rethink why we have dogs... Give her this last day of love to take to the Bridge.
