When they walked in this afternoon daughter "mentioned" that BOTH Tinkerbell (Chidog) and Pippa (pap X Pom) were in season. Fortunately both mind very well but poor Trooper is a bit confused with these two vixen running around him when I take them outside. Small back yard so I just put him on a sit that he holds well even though Pippa is bouncing off his chest, being a big flirt. Trooper just sits there holding eye contact with me and making weird little squealing noises. I tell Pippa to move off and she does but then she sits about ten feet away making all sorts of "come get it big boy" moves. Fortunately I only have to do this 3-4 times a day. I texted(extremely rare)my daughter and said "payback is hell". She sent back a bunch of LOLs. WIMMINS! old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

Fact is I've enjoyed all my dogs, all the time but it's time now for just one at a time and Trooper is that dog. Never thought I'd ever say that. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

When that time comes I'll probably be looking at one of the small terriers. I do love those crazy little bassids! That screaming wasn't me. Anne, the wife has always been super supportive of my dog habits since day one so I've always respected her wishes about no heavy shedders in the house. Seem the GSDs fit to a T one of their nicknames of German Shedders. I always hand stripped all my small terriers. The Kerry Blue has a single, non shedding coat like a Poodle. I always scissored my two in a show cut because the looked so dern good that way. The non shedding Kerrys were my first "big buck" dogs and the non shedding was a requirement happily agreed to. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks
