I'm looking for a PPD mentor in Maine or New England. Does anyone know of someone in these areas who would consider being a mentor?
The most striking features of the correctly bred German Shepherds are firmness of nerves, attentiveness, unshockability, tractability, watchfulness, reliability and incorruptibility together with courage, fighting tenacity and hardness.

I'm not aware of any, all I know are in it strictly to sell dogs and make money. PPD trainers that I have met in Maine, they won't even talk to you if your not interested in buying.
They do all kinds of training, and I bet they could point you in the right direction. I've done training with Carl before, and I do reccomend him. Good guy, and a good trainer.
Good people, they have alot of fun doing ring sport, may also be able to give you more information, or point you to a person that could help with what your looking for.
