I'm at the moment reading Behavior Adjustment Training by Grisha Stewart. Very interesting book. Do you know it? I've only begun reading and I'm still knawing around some things. But on the whole lot of what she says seems to be very logic v. Her set up: She creates for the dog situations where he can make his own choices. But of course he has not 7 choice at a time. Possibly just two. Question of the set up. But when the dog choses for himself the right one it is much more reinforcing for him than when WE reinforce him in some way. Difficult to describe this in a few words for someone who hasn't read it. but gives a lot to think.
If someone else has read it I'd appreciate very much his opinion. I personnally will have to read it once straight through to get the first impression and the start it over again more detailed.
