I'm sorry, no reproach at all. I don''t know if there are holidays in US, which you certainly should enjoy. Of course I know it's all none of my business, but I'm a bit concerned because you were always so regularly with us. I do miss you and I hope everything is ok with you. I certainly don't want to pester you, so sorry if it seems like this. I'm sure you need your time off and I wish you a wonderful pause.
But perhaps someone else knows more about his silence. Please forgive for my intrudance, it is not meant like that.

Lollllll ! Did you complain so much? Don't remember. Apart from this, Bob is not such a mimosa! Though I'm a little concerned he might be sick, but not because of this. But let's think positive, let's hope he's just on holyday or something like this.

Nope, Bob's not sick -- and not a mimosa, as far as I know. (Around here, a mimosa is just a drink -- not generally a person. )
It's just computer problems! (I shouldn't say "just" -- I know that computer problems can be a serious pain in the neck.)

Oh thanks Connie. so glad he isn't sick. Computer problems, oh God! I'm sick of this, we have them so often here.
Thanks also for the English lesson. I had no idea mimosa was a drink in US. A good one? Will try to find out the recipe.
We use this word for people, who have problems with accepting the slightest difference in opinions and feel awfully offended because of this, and I knew of course that Bob is not one of them.

Thanks for letting us know, Connie. When Christina started this thread, I checked to see when Bob had last posted, and I admit I was a tiny bit concerned myself. I'm glad to know it's something as commonly annoying to all of us as computer issues!

From computer issues I'll get crazy some day. Especially for foreigners her it is aweful, as we depend on transferring money from time to time. without this we can live from some stolen bananas and we cannnot pay any more for an employee and have problems to look fo our dogs. Gladly we had some reserves, but they don't hold for ever. I hope, Bob will not enter in such problems, but for sure it very annoying.
Good recovery, Bob!

Christina;
Over here, "pansy" is equivalent to your "mimosa". Here, as Connie stated, a Mimosa is a drink. It is also the name of a very beautiful flowering tree that we imported from Japan.

Duane, thanks for the explanation. I knew, that Mimosa is a very beautiful plant, known for closing the leaves rapidly when touched. Because of her extreme sensivity to changements in her environment we use that word in the way I described.
The recipe I haven't looked up yet, but we will certainly try that drink some day. I only hope it will not have the colateral effect of making my husband pansy!
Sorry, forgot that the topics here should be about dogs. I'll give a bit of that cocktail to my dogs, so the topic is correct again.

A mimosa is just Champagne and Orange Juice In this area, they are a common drink during Sunday Brunch. Mimosas are a favorite of mine
