We are fostering a chihuahua/Jack Russell X with attitude. Our main issue is that, when walking on a leash, she barks and lunges at every single passer-by. Mercifully, she is in a harness and easy to restrain. She is not a biter and is actually quite friendly toward strangers that come to the house (after the intial frenzy over the knock on the door) but I think that getting her over this is going to be crucial to her adoption prospects. She gets along with our resident small dog. She is 8 years old, left in a kill shelter in California and rescued by an organization here in B.C. We don't have any other info.
