Hi everybody - do you guys usually do the 1 yr booster for parvo/distemper? I usually do titer tests but I don't remember about the 1yr boost. My vet seems to think we should do the 1yr boost & then titer tests after that.

I checked the Jean Dodds minimal-vax recommendations, to which I've always referred, and she says about the one-year booster:
"1 year old
Distemper + Parvovirus, MLV
This is an optional booster or titer. If the client intends not to booster after this optional booster or intends to retest titers in another three years, this optional booster at puberty is wise."

On a related note, what do you guys do about Lepto? I haven't been doing that vaccination - it makes me nervous - but going without is also a risk too.
