If you aren't yet watching Ken Burns' new "Country Music," which started last week, I hope you record it or catch it "On Demand," because it's so terrific!
Right now I'm up to the Singing Cowboys (like Gene Autry), but there has not been any part that isn't great.

I didn't realize what it was all about but I have one recorded.
I believe it's the early years of Rock & Roll.
All right! You got one captured.
OK, I just looked at the episode list ... looks like you recorded Episode 4, which is tonight's episode. if I were you I'd record all the rest, as they happen, and then watch 1 thrrough 3 from "On Demand" (or repeats).
I know you will want to see them. Including 1 - 3.
I heard a story about this on NPR recently and had made a mental note to watch it. I forgot, of course. I'll have to look around and see if I can catch it in reruns. I don't have my TV hooked up to the internet (personal preference), so I don't have on-demand availability.
I grew up with country music. That's all my dad listened to. So I developed an appreciation for it, especially the artists from the 1950s and 1960s. I guess you could say, "I was country when country wasn't cool."
