I am getting peeved at the weather. 70 F., this afternoon, and forecast to be 24 F, tomorrow at 0800 hrs. Now, the reason I get peeved has to do with dogs blowing coat with the temp swings.
Amazing quantities of blown coat.
Then too, it is an opportunity to brew a cupan tae, or cup of tea, Irish blend, of course.
The wind is gusting 18 from the WNW. Blowing from the SSW earlier today.
Bunker-ed down. Sheltering in place. The hermit curmudgeon me is quite comfortable. Good supply of dog food. Full freezer and larder. And so it goes.
Everyone be safe. Serious stuff. Take it seriously.

Same here on the sheltering in place. Crazy up and down weather her also with lots of plants and flowers breaking out in the yard. Plenty of tp here but I'm looking at old t-shirts just in case.

LOL
And Mike ... blown coats put me in mind of every single breed I have had ... every one has been happy about ridding themselves of that dratted coat ... from GSD to Pug!
Yesterday, the dogs and I woke up to 64 degrees outside, but throughout the day it was windy and blustery and had dropped 30 degrees by the time we went to bed. This morning it is 26. No blowing coats for me, with short-haired, single-coated dogs, but they still shed plenty at certain times of the year.
We are hunkered down for however long it takes. I'm keeping connected by catching up on phone calls and emails with family and friends, and hanging out at a few different online discussion forums I belong to. So far, we're good on supplies.
We are indeed taking this very, very seriously. To all of you here at LB, please be safe, stay healthy, give your dogs an extra hug, and together we will get through this.
