Who: Ivan Balabanov, 2001 USA SchH3 National Champion
What: Schutzhund Obedience and Protection Training Seminar
Also Ring and Mondioring if there is interest
When: July 6-7, 2002
Where: We are trying to get the K9 training field in the Presidio in San
Francisco as it will be cooler than Davis. If we cannot get the Presidio,
the seminar will be in Davis, CA on the UC Davis campus. There
is plenty of shaded parking at the Davis site.
The seminar is limited to 12 dogs. There is no limit on the number of
observers. Lunch and drinks are provided.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Douglas Surber
at dsurber@oracle.com as soon as possible.
Oh come on, you mean you don't like paying for a ticket right when you get there???? lol
Maybe it's close to someone though? Everyone have fun that can make it.
Hey I just did a road trip from Indina to Boston with Bernhard Flinks and Itor. Screw these airlines that won't fly dogs - gas is almost cheap. Nothing like a motel 6 at midnight after driving 700 miles and after a week with Itor he wasn't trying to eat me everytime I had to get something out of my truck.
I heard that Ivan was coming to the Green Bay area for a seminar in August. i hope I can go -
OK folks, no fair shooting the messenger. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I'm just passing on the info. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The Ivan Balabanov seminar will be held in The Presidio in San Francisco, July 6-7. We expect the temperature to be fairly cool, 60's to low 70's. Some of the best dog training weather you'll find anywhere in the summer. Actually, bring plenty of warm clothes just in case. "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco" - Mark Twain
It about a 30 minute drive to the field from the East Bay, so if you need a hotel, you don't have to stay in the city. If you want to stay in a hotel, contact Douglas Surber and he'll try to coordinate.
We still do not have enough participants to hold the seminar. If you want to come and bring a dog, please contact Douglas Surber in the next couple of days. dsurber@oracle.com
