This morning 3 trains have been bombed by terrorists at rush hour (7:55 am) in Madrid, Spain. About 200 people dead and 1000 injured. The worse terrorist action in the history of our country.
An explosive detection K9 handlers, also well known sport handler, has explained in our training forum how devastating it has been to secure areas that were filled with parts of human bodies, and where some bombs where still unexploded.
I would like to thank all explosive detection K9 handlers around the world for the job they do every day.
It is sorry planet where we live if such dogs are needed at all.
But we do live in it and in my country there are also dogs and their handlers that risk their lives cleaning mine fields and i am glad that there are people and dogs like that.
pedro all i can say is i hope to live to see better and safer days in our time but for some reason i find it hard to belive!
personaly i can't understand why pepole act so surprised to this attack! you need to be blind not to see what is going on all over the world today, what you guys went throu is what we here at ISRAEL going throu almost every week and some places every day, what the U.S went throu at 9-11...
the way i see it dogs are not the answer.
inteligence is!!! and when that does not work dogs do...
i wish for you and your country to go throu this with your head up and most importent-
DON'T GIVE UP THE HOPE

Dear Edo,
Our country has been suffering terrorism for 25 years. When we saw Sep11 on TV we knew exactly how they felt. But 200 dead and 1400 seriously wounded is not something that happens every week anywhere. This is not a competition for who suffers the most. The islamic terrorism is new for us and I'm afraid we have no intelligence for it, or very little.
This is off topic already. I just wanted to make a comment about bomb detection dogs and handlers.
