Anyone here familiar with the wirehaired version of the Belgian Sheepdog, it's known as the "Laekenois". Does it have a working temparment similar to the Malinois? Has anyone ever seen one in Sport or as a persomnal protection dog? Does it even have a working temperment at all, or is it more of a show dog.
I know of someone who has one in FL that she is working. I will meet the dog in December but if you would like to PM me your address I will see if she would email you some info. She doesn't come to this board very often.... I think they are good looking dogs. The low-shed thing is a good thing in my book, the GSD hair in the kitchen has been upgraded from dust bunnies, to full blown dust cats, and I just swiffered the darn thing yesterday!
