An add on from the last post!!! With regards to the right price for a 14 month old Mal bitch that is a serious police dog prospect!!I know price on dogs varies a lot, the bitch is unpappered as the breeder says correct temperament and character is more important (I agree)?????
Does this sound like a sound temperament test.......The dogs are taken to a new atmosphere (noisy factory) put out on a 'tie' and left for 15 mins them approached by a helper firing a 9mm and threatening with a whip... If the dog comes forward engages the helper and takes the bite then the breeder moves it on to police work, if not, it is sold as a pet/companion/watchdog... Sounds like a good test of temperament to me but what do you guys and gals who know more on here think of that??
