I seen the Mals twice on Animal Planet. The first time when they had a special on MWDs. They where training new handlers, one of the field problems was to get you, your gear and dog across a chest deep creek at night. Someone forgot to tell him that his Mal didn't like to swim. They get into the water the Mal jumps up on the handler's back and wraps his front paws around the handlers neck and the handler goes with it and crosses the creek. He passed. The other time was a pet talent contest with three celebrity judges. The pet owner did some variations of schutzun. He had the Mal walk up a flight of stairs on two hind legs carrying a 7Lb weight. My bro in law got two of them and they proceeded to completly destroy his house I'm looking to purchase and train a working breed from a reputable breeder. I currently have two BYB GSD's. I'm going to look more closely at Mals.
I'm "at work" right now and the this pc won't do mpegs. I'll do it as soon as I can. I did look at the pics. I'm gonna need a bigger fence
Thanks for the link Chris. It appears that the default setting for a Mal is to hang off some one's arm or leg. That looks like a real fun dog. I do have a question on training, why on earth did they teach that dog to pull some one off a bicycle? Do they have a lot of pedaling perps in Paris?
