I was wondering if anyone has heard of Altobello kennel in Yugoslavia? Second question is does anyone have any opinions on the best kennel in Europe? I mean that produce serious and extreme working dobermanns? Thanks
Well I suggest you go to http://www.dobermann.com and check ztps and korungs. If you want a serious working dog find a kennel with weyermuhle lines. Alfred v.d.Uquefellte was line breed on weyermuhle. He's 110 pounds, and a German police dept offered 15,000 marks for him. His dad, mannix, was in a dention center right, and tooks hits from a lead pipe, and then defened his handler with a broken neck. Aurachgrund is good to look at. They have v Bayern which is good to. Once you look at ZTP test you'll get a better idea.
These are some nice line going back correct?? What about Avatar vom Bahnhof? And the Nymphenburg lines? Anybody heard of these? What are your opinions?
If you want an a dog from Ascommanis, you had bbetter talk to lisa about there next litter because all the ones they have now are spoken for.
I heard Nymphenburg lines are to sharp.
For what it's worth, my former TD (a well-known SchH trainer) said that Avasara v. Bahnhof--Avatar's littermate who died in a veterinary accident--was the best Dobe he'd ever seen.
The Eschenhof - Nymph bloodlines are all but gone. Tina has linebred on these lines. Avatar for instance has an inbreeding co-effeicent over 10 gerenerations of 41%. And Stig, no problems with him or his offspring <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I have spoken to Tina a couple of times and she seems like a really nice woman. She really loves her dogs and she is dedicated to Schutzhund. I have her video and her dogs looked pretty good.
If you are comparing the Weyermuhle lines to the Eschenhof lines they are different dogs.
The Weyermuhle dogs are more like a GSD. Stable, strong drives, strong nerves and more focused. The Eschenhof dogs were more aggressive, high drive, sharp and a very strong natural protection instinct. The nerve could be a little thin on some of them. These traits are all but gone from the German Dobes now. There was a dog called Eick v Eschenhof, many regard this dog as one of the hardest most serious Dobes to have lived. The von Bayern dogs have Eick in their pedigrees. They also have Falk.
Tina ( v Barnhof ) has done what VERY FEW North American breeders do and that is to breed her own line of dogs from good import stock and to improve them keeping her best pups back for her own breedings.
