What is the correct term to use when talking about the maroon/red(colored)dobe? When someone talks about a doberman, I immediately assume it is black/brown. Secondly, does anyone know of any workingline breeders in Texas? Websites? Thanks.
I believe the fawn coloured coat is also called "Isabella". I have seen both the blue and fawn coats at a big dog show a few years ago. Quite unusual. But even the owners of those two dogs told me that they have a tendency towards more skin and health problems. Both the CKC and the AKC (caution, bad words!) classifies the "brown" coat colour as "red".
Hello I dont know as much about dogs as most of you on here (yet). But I own A fawn Doberman a male of about 85lbs and 11 mths old. The only skin problem I have had so far is an episode of demodox when I had to leave him with friends when I went to JRTC. I was able to take care of it with some over the counter vitamins. I tried the expensive dips from the vet but they just stressed the both of us out and didnt work. Oh and since this is my first post Ill warn everyone. Now that my registration is strait prepare for many questions.lol
