hi guys I am new to doberman world. Recently I saw a article on v Bayern kennels and found it interesting. Could anyone tell where I can find their dogs?
Manfred lerner is retired but if you look on UDC breed announcements (http://www.uniteddobermanclub.com/litter.htm) you will notice that v. haus mann kennel is breeding Jano v. Bayern to Anushka Germania.
I just bred my linebred Nymphenburg/Eschenhof female to Alfred v. Haus Mann (Janus Bayern xAnushka Germania.) I am not as knowledgeable about the Bayern lines as some of the other working Dobermann lines around, but I think the combo of Bayern, Weyermuhle, Nymphenburg and Eschenhof should be interesting. Both sire and dam go back to dogs like Falk Rotbachtal who I believe Lerner liked very much.
Serious dogs with excellent nerves and good structure.
MISMZ I suggest that you step back and listen to people who know a lot more about Doberman bloodlines than you do. When you have taken a Doberman to the USA nationals and bred a bunch of sch titled Dobermans (as Cindy Easton has) I will allow you to comments on doberman bloodlines.
I've known Cindy for 17 years ( I was just a baby lol just kidding) and the first dog I ever saw in Schutzhund was her Doberman Elka. Seeing them work is what got me started into dogs. She has been breeding and raising Dobermans for almost 20 years. Cindy always competed at the German Shepherd events with her Doberman and did very well. She has a vast knowledge of the breed and is very well respected. She drove 3,000 miles to do this breeding. She could have bred to a dog that was closer but she knew that Alfred's pedigree would compliment Dayma's. If all junkyard dogs bring out hard dogs that bite well--bring them on
There is no problem, thats were Lerner found the dog. Falk guarded a junkyard. I thought that was kinda cool. I remeber having a conversionation about with someone else. I just put down what I was told about him. He really was a junkyard dog. What is the big deal. That is what he did. He guared a junk yard. He was a good dog. He produced hard biters. That is what Lerner said.
