How is the best way to check my dog bite?
I want to check see if he has all of
his teeth. And to make sure his bite is
right. He will be 1 year old in 1-17-2005.
I know i should have been working with
him on this. Maybe one of you know and

Just open his mouth and put your fingers way in the back so he can't close till you finish counting.

WE see what happen next!!!!!!
Just take it all in small steps. Touch his mouth. If he doesn't react, give a treat. Slowly build to where you can lift his lips, then you'll have to be able to open his mouth. Whe he starts reacting negative, back off. It'll all come with time. Some show judges just look from the side. Others want to see inside.

small steps and positive reinforcement is the key, making sure that your dog feels safe and secure while you are doing it is also part of it. With a little patience and work I was able to get my dogs to the point where I can use dental tools to scrap the tarter from their teeth.
