At this moment I do have some original ADRK studbooks for sale. As I am a collector of these books I do have so now and than several pieces of a specific breed year. If you are looking for ADRK studbooks please let me know which year you are looking for and I might have that specific book available. Some of them are from the early 1940 's .
The books are the origianl ones and they are written in German.
The studbooks are created by the club in Germany. They do contain all the litters who are born in that year, all the ZTP's and Korungen including critiques from the specific dogs and if they passed or failed.
Also in the books are the HD and ED results of the dogs who are officially X-rayed.
So it is possible to look up the results of a specific breeder, litter or the offspring of a studdog in that year.
The old studbooks, early 1940's and 1950's do contain pictures. the new ones do not have this anymore.
Every year the ADRK is giving out a studbook with the information of the year before.

Good afternoon,
the books are used by breeders, studdog owners must by the book when their studdog has sired a litter. The books are also used by foreign breeders who do quite often use the German studdogs and who are then looking for information etc.
The German Shepherd Club in Germany and in the Netherlands does have the same system. It is also common by some Clubs of f.i. the American Quarterhorses and the pure bred arabians or the Warmblood studbook in the Netherlands.
If you want to know more about a certain breed you need this type of information to get further and to find your information.
