I was visiting another GSD board that houses mainly ASD & German show line lovers and noticed something very interesting.

1. Everything is all Lovey-Dovey/Touchy-Feely. ARGHH!!! I can't stand that CRAP!!!
2. Every other post has pictures of the idiots dogs!!! (one took pics of her great dog 1 ft. off the ground trying to catch a snowball - HOW CUTE!) The replies all commented on how high the dog jumped and one even said, "and they say American's can't jump!
3. Some of them title dogs which automatically puts them on the same level as working line GSD's, except ours "AIN'T THAT PURTY."
You'll find this a lot. When you see what else is out there, you will find that this discussion board is the best. Want to hear about lovey dovey stuff? I can't last more than a day or two on most lists. My record was 10 minutes. I got kicked off a board after my first post when I told someone to pinch a dogs toes if he jumps up on you. I was called a barbaric neandrothal.(did I spell that right?) Moral of the story...I don't even bother anymore. I get all I need and some from here.
They also brag that their dog doesn't pee all over them when they use an ecollar. Can't leave that one out .
Oh, and they say that a dog can't work without proper conformation. They are completely oblivious to the fact that working might need something other than what wins in the show ring. Thank God that I ended up with a dog with at least a very small bit of working lines in her despite what is on those types of boards (I didn't know any better at the time).

Hey VanCamp -- from reading this thread I hope you're not doing what "they brag their dog doesn't do all over them when they use an ecollar". From the sounds of your replies you might want to invest in a box of Depends
It's good to hear from ya, but I thought you'd have more to say than that!
Let me guess you couldn't get permission to post a pretty pic of your pooch! kidding
