Contact the breeder of the dog. The breeder SHOULD know about the lines of the dogs he breeds. In my opinion it is step 1 in being a respectable breeder. If he does not have this info then I dont know what to tell you except to do a google search on the dogs in his/her pedegree. You should come up with something.
I met Joe with this dog { I think it was him} The was very impressive in bite work. No driving him off. His bark and hold was scary. Knocked the decoys hat off. Joe is a very knowledgable person and breeds for strength of character. No show dogs in his kennel. Give him a call.

You can also try typing the names of the parents under google. There are some good pedigree databases that will tell you about the dog, it's progeny, etc.
