I have a great working bitch I'd like to find a stud for on the west coast. But I will travelfor the right mix. Ped. has Igor van de Hersang;Fado who is 5-4-5 on Berdt;Ron v.d.Jungen Hansen; Dax von der Kesmarker Tranke.Fado is also on both sides. Any suggestions or contact info would be appreciated. Her last three trials got three 96s in protection.
Thanks
Ron, I know she produces well with the Antverpa line. A son of Scott van Haus Antverpa (Veck I think sorry about the spelling) is in Washington State. Scott is the sire of the litter that my pup is from. She has great hunt drive and prey drive, solid nerves.
I think the Kennel name is Schroeder Haus. They have a nice website. I would be interested in this breeding if Didi was owned by me.
Or one of Todd Gastners czech dogs if you want to go that direction.
I would also look at finding a PSD that has produced good pups.
Just my two cents here, I like the lines in your pedigree. I have Igor in some of my girls too. I would think about staying focused on what is in her pedigree a complete Czech outcross?? Who knows what might happen hip and temperament wise. I like to keep Czech lines with Czech lines, unless someone has produced already with success outcrosses. I would even suggest Kevin Sheldahl's Police Dog CJ, He is Czech, but mostly all top civilian based working dogs. He's a very impressive and underused stud dog. He's in New Mexico. I have a bitch with him now, with Igor lines that will someday be bred to him. It would nice to know how that worked out))Not to mention, the best thing about using CJ, is you have all Kevin's experience behind the breeding. Not just an importer with a kennel full of dogs bought in Europe. He has outcrossed to Todd Gaster Mink lined female, it produced several working Police Dogs and great hips. On his site you see some progeny of CJs.
I really like Bryan's idea of using CJ, Especially if I'm going to get a pup from Didi.
I've e-mailed Todd a few times about how his studs would fit with my pup and he said proberly good.
Since he's being Tight Nutted with his studs, I'd check out Kevins, CJ. What I like about him is that he's a working PSD and top competitor.
Just my two cents for what's it worth, I was right about Didi I'm proberly right about the Didi X CJ if you can arrange it.
I hate to sound like a fan club member, but I'd give a big two paws up for using CJ as a stud also. He produces well from his history, and cripes....you can light him on *FIRE* and he won't out on the bad guy. I really hope Kevin is saving some frozen semen on that dog....
I tell you...I love this thread. I'm not even hear and getting the 'lovin'.
Tightnutted??? THat's a new one on me.
It's funny Deanna, I never let anyone know I wasn't studding to outside until that thread on the other board. I am inundated with requests to stud. I have not accepted any yet. However, people are making some great arguments. It is possible I would consider it. That is not saying yes as of yet. However, at this point I would consider it. See even hard headed water quirting people like me can make changes.
