I would like to know peoples opinions on the pedegree of my female. I want to know if people have had any experience with these lines and what they produce. She is line-bred 3-3 on the "O"vh Antverpa litter (Orry and Olko),4-4 on Steffi Teikerhook, 4-4 Verwin Blitsaerd, 5-5 on Robbie Glockneck, She also has lines to Bojar de lupis Fidis, Wanko v der maraaue, Evi Korbelbach, Arek stoffelblick, link muikenshof and Andy Bildsaule all within her 5 gen. (No Fero or Lord) All of this results in a linebreeding on Ingo Rudigen and several linebreedings on Bernd Leirburg. She is only 1 1/2 yrs. old and hasnt been breed yet. She has SUPER DRIVES. I would consider her prey to be borderline with almost too much. She is not crazy thought. VERY clear headed. Will focus very well especially in obedience. Tracking is amazing too. She has superb nerves and nice long bite with killer grips. I could not ask for a better sport dog. But I want to know if these lines could possibly produce good police dog candidates with the right stud. I hope to breed her one day if all goes well. I am exited to see what becomes of her, as I am working on getting her titled. I am not a big sport fan, is why I ask, if these lines could potetially produce hard dogs.

Find a strong stud dog that has all the qualities you want to see in a police dog and breed her to him.
You would have to post your full pedigree to get some of the pedigree nutz on the board to comment I think.
There is a police/competition dog that is linebred on Ingo here in the US. He has proven himself on the field and street. . .don't know about how he produces.
Brawnson, without looking I think he is 4-4 or 5-5 on Ingo.

Brawnson, without looking I think he is 4-4 or 5-5 on Ingo. Brawnson is 4-5 Ingo Rudingen, also carries lines to Greif Lahntal, Mike Bungalow, Bernd/Gin Lierberg, Bert Knüfken, Mutz Pelztierfarm, Marko Cellerland, and Ajax Dexel. According to comparing notes with Mike, my Kane is a carbon copy except he doesn't have any of the handler issues. I would however suggest bitches taken to him have good hips.

Well, you know, since I do have one of his sons and do pedigree research...I know Brawnson's pedigree inside and out. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I have heard that these lines produce well, but I have heard mixed things about Orry. Some say that he is a sport dog and nothing more. Its hard to believe considering that he goes back on Verwin, Robbie, and Ingo along with the Teikerhook motherline. Would these lines work when crossed with czech lines? Has anybody have experience with this?

I have heard many times over that Orry was the "sporty" dog out of the litter and that Olko was the serious one. Not just from one person, but from quite a few people.

I have a pup out of a 3/4 brother to Orry. The owner told me that he was only a sport dog! Also Scott being a IPO champion 34 times tells you something about the European dogs.
I don't think scott would have taken a bite without a sleeve.
There are Sport Line Dogs and then there are Real Working Line Dogs, You can have both but they are hard to LOCATE.
I'm more then satisified with a SPORT LINE Pup. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Is this possible?
In Germany. almost all GSD are registered and Hips checked and trained in schH! Therefor statistics show us how many breed bad hips, how many produce good working dogs Etc.
In the states were just getting started. You dont have to check hips. You dont have to register the results. And you dont have to have a title to reg. the progeny. Therefor isnt it a little presumptuous of us to say progeny of these american breed dogs from good working lines are good only for sport.
Lets say Joe breeds GSD and becouse he is in to SchH, he sells all his dogsto sport people. Does that mean there to soft for Police work?
Sam is a cop.Breeds GSDs and sells to police Etc.
Does this mean these dogs cant do Sport as there to serious?
I dont think so.
Untill we get controls like the germans (which will never happen)I believe every dog from working lines wust be not only judged on there siblings and pedagree but also on there own merits.
Just my opinion.
