Can anyone tell me how much I should expect to pay to join a club? I have a 6 month GSD and want to start this spring/summer but I want an idea of what to look for as far as cost. Thanks
I'm afraid clubs vary greatly. If a BIG name runs the club, it can be in the thousands as a one time entry fee. Some are very reasonable, like ours is only $20/month.

Club in CA - Was $150 and included everything. But now, the new helper charges for all the helper work each session. I would be somewhat OK with this with a strong training helper, but this helper has not even titled a dog to a 2 or 3....
Club in KY - went from just $150 per year to $150 plus $10 everytime you work a dog. This did not include tracking and the $$ did not go to the helpers...
Club in TN for 2 people is $300 per year and all included.
Well I guess this brings up another question. Does anyone know of the club cost in the northern virginia area? I guess my question was too general. I actually live outside the DC area. Thanks again
$1 ever time you work dog (protection) goes to club fun fund. ($2 if your dog bites the helper)
3 hours of work per month- ground maint, cleaning, etc. (more like 20 per month during growing seasons lol)
Potluck every couple months. . .you have to bring something GOOD to eat that YOU cooked and of course. . .BYO microbrews! (but no drinking during training hours) Buying potato salad at the store on the way in gets you clean up duty!
Certified helpers (DVG) don't pay dues, they work enough to deserve it, but they don't get out of mowing. LOL
