On Behalf of Central of Ala Schutzhund Club, I would like to thank Mike West for Judging our Spring Trial this weekend.
Also I would like to congratulate our own Lee Baragona for going high in Trial with a 295 in SchH I. Granted it took her 6 years of training to get ready for this trial, but it was an outstanding job.
And thanks to everyone who came and supported our club especaily those from Chattahoochee, and South Metro clubs.
Humankind is drawn to dogs because they are so like ourselves- bumbling, affectionate, confused, eaily disappointed, eager to be amused, grateful for kindness and the least attention Pam Brown
6 years to train for sch 1? well, she got the high score, but why 6 years? i've read lee's posts about training avidly for a long time now. clearly she knows a lot and is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge, maybe she can explain why it took 6 years....

Diso was just about ready about two years ago when he broke his neck. Just to be clear the dog ran into a fence, it wasn't the helper work.

A little CYA, there Orville?? Deez has had a circuitous route to the trial! I took two years off from Schutzhund altogether to do only agility with him, and then after only 5 months back into the sport, he fractured his C-1 vertebra and had to take off another full year. Glad I finally got it in before he croaks!
Lee, a very BIG CONGRATULATION'S to you and Disco.
I wouldn't respond to Scott about why it took 6 years. Yeah I guess I would respond!
Just a side note: Fanni vom Haus Lord is a Tracking machine, Our mentor Peter is very pleased with both our progress.
Again, CONGRATULATIONS Job well DONE.
Lee, Nothing like a little mistake in spelling, to create some good humor.
By the way, Farty is close to Fannie's second name. I call her S#!+head, so you weren't far off.
I understand you talked with Peter, without him, we would be lost souls.
I met Mike West a few months back, very nice person with a great attitude, I hope all judges are like him.
Mike West was super nice - very handler friendly, excellent detailed critiques, good sense of humor, which was certainly needed for some routines! We'd have him back in a heartbeat.
Congrats Lee I was not able to make it out there, but I did want to. I have one of Kurt's dogs. One day I will make it out there to train for a day. You club seems like a good group of people. Again, congrats!
