Hello all,
I'm using a prong right now with my 6 month old boxer. I purchased one that is medium weight but in order to get the proper fit I had to remove a few of the prongs. As a result the prong portion of the collar is only on half of his neck. The rest is the chain portion. Things are going well though ( corrections are minimal) but I would like to know if a looser fit would be better (more prongs)?
When the prong is looser it is LESS effective. Not more. If they are loose the prongs touch the other prongs instead of pinching the skin like it should.
If it ain't broke.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
