Has anyone seen or heard of this book? It sounds very good and is recommended by Billinghurst himself.
I am thinking of ordering it and would like to know if there are any others out there who are familiar with it.
Here is the author's website... http://www.switchingtoraw.com
This is a great book that i recommend to anyone who wants to or already does the raw diet. It spells out how to do the diet simply without explaining everything to death like Billinghurst does. It even comes with a suggested monthly menu to help you know when to feed what kind of meal to your dog. We copied the menu and taped it up on the fridge. It's just a great practical guide.
Karmen, thanks for the thumbs up on the book.
I've received it and read it 2 or 3 times. Very straightforward, it makes planning meals really easy and sort of compiles the Billinghurst information in a very easy to use and reference format.
I even e-mailed Susan Johnson to ask her a couple of specific questions and she replied back the same day.
I would definately recommend this book to any new BARFer and it would be a very nice book to include in any new puppy package.
P.S. Karmen....where did Sabre's name go?
I am glad you liked the book. I have seen such a diffence in my dogs since I switched to a raw diet a back....
I put Sabre's name back on. I was updating and debated on which I wanted on there her registered name (Stretch) or her call name Sabre. I forgot to add her back on but I have now (thanks for reminding me ) I stayed with Sabre since I have the other two dogs' call name....
