For those of you familiar with Vols. I and II already published by Steven R. Lindsay (Applied Dog Behavior & Training... available through Leergurg), I just learned that he has a new book. Volume III is "Procedures and Protocols". From the publisher: "The text thoroughly covers basic training procedures, training tools, formal obedience exercises, housetraining, destructive behavior, appetite problems, fears and phobias, separation distress syndrome, compulsive behavior disorders, hyperactivity and hyperkinesis, neurobiology, and aggression." Apparently it will not be available until about mid-March, but if you go to the publisher's website (Blackwell Publishing), you can order now.... and, best of all, it's on sale! ($62.99).
Are Steven R. Lindsay's Applied Dog Behavior books Volumes 1 and 2 easy to read and understand books? Has anyone read his third and most recent book Volume 3?
I found them similar to a college text but still very informative, even with my limited gray matter <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> . Looking forward to Vol.III
