What are people's opinions, good or bad, on Olymp Policia or Stormfront's Brawnson? What can you tell me about the dogs, about the dogs in their pedigrees (mostly just a bunch of names to me) and what I could expect as far as working drives and temperament from either dog and from the Czech lines? I am slightly familiar with Czech dogs, but would like the opinions of people that are much more experienced with them.

Also, the female I am considering breeding to one of these males is all West German working lines (Sire is Troll Körbelbach, Fado Karthgo grandson and Dam is 2-2 on Mink). Can this work?

well, I can tell you what I see every day that Brawnson has produced, my 8mo old Kane. Kane is very handler focused, does not need a strong correction to get back in line, is a very dominant dog (towards other dogs) but isn't dog aggressive, HIGH prey drive, very quick learner, deep nose, and great old style (DDR/Czech) structure (big blocky head, very muscular body, thick bones). On the protection field, he's forceful, shows lots of power in his strikes, always bites calmly and confidently, deep and full, and will not release until you tell him to out (he will literally hang in the air if you pick him up by the tug/puppy sleeve). As far as obedience, he's very eager to please, sometimes a little over enthusiastic, but also has good focus and control for a dog his age. He is however, a one person dog, he obeys me just fine, but rarely if ever listens to anyone else. Out in public, he's very calm, doesn't care if someone pets him or not, will not shy away from a stranger, but will not advance on them either. If someone unknown to me approaches from my rear when we're in town or where-ever, he will give me a 2 bark alert and stay "locked on" to them until I acknowledge him & them (this was something he did naturally and was not taught, but was reinforced with "good boy" etc). He also loves to play & wrestle, but really doesn't care for being petted by anyone (kind of a take it or leave it). In the wrong hands, I can see where he would be a lot of trouble, as he's got a really good natural aggression level, and unfocused he could be a real monster, but he has learned good control and how & when to release it.
