Hi all!
Id like to know your insights and suggestion if im going to buy this czech male. He's 11mos. old, the description of the breeder is "For his age his bite work is excellent - he bites hard, he has basic obedience and he loves retrieving, his temperament is super , he is very confident and strong nerves". His Sire is Cak Pisecna boure, Dam is Orka Milberku. Do you guys know any successfull progeny of the Sire or the Dam. Im Familiar with the Dam, she has Ex Hronovsky pramen, Titus z Pohranicni straze and Axa z Travnickova dvora on her background. Thanks guys in advance
The dam line looks good on paper. The sire's name doesn't ring a bell, but I certainly don't know every Czech dog out there. Sounds like a reasonable description of a dog of that age.
Is this dog out of "U" z Milberku? Cak is a well known stud in Czech out of Gero Chmelovy kvitek and Jenny z Zlataku. Gero's dam Alin was sold to US long time ago, she died just recently. Believe she was about 12 years old. Alin is Ciro zPs daughter. Orka's dam is Ira z Milberku who is a litter mate to Isa/Ingo. Isa is in the States also. It is a nice looking pedigree. There is a half brother out of Cak (Redy z Milberku) here in the States some place. Their progeny (Cak and Orka) are really too young to know much about, the oldest out of Cak can't be but little over 2 years old??
I have heard it said that Titus zPs is one of THE Czech dogs to have in a pedigree, what is the general concensus? And PLEASE.......would someone mercifully unravel the mystery to deciphering a Czech breed survey number? Has anyone heard of Norbo Ben-Ju? Thanks!

I love to see Titus on a pedigree. I have 4 dogs with Titus in their pedigree and they all have one thing in common, beautifull natural aggression and clear in head. One is Ex son, one Back, one Ben son and one Norbo son. Other thing I like to see in combination with Titus is Car z Kz and Ciro zPs. Norbo is great dog, have seen him many times in triasl, seen his off spring. There is one that stands out most, the "T" litter Ben-Ju, they are all doing great in trials. The "T" litter is 2-2 on Chuna Policia who is also the g-dam of 2 of my dogs.
What do you need to know about Czech breed survey, what number?
The number is Norbo's....5kv5/55. Is this like the old east german breed surveys? If it close, I can figure it out for the most part but the alpha characters have thrown me for a loop. My friend just bought a Norbo daughter (12 weeks), the truth is that she just tested VERY well and I saw Cello and Taco v. Kahler Heide on mama's side on paper, as we know very little about the Czech lines outside of some very vague generalities. Everyone's help has been encouraging, Thanks! Where's Van Camp on this?

AZ, Norbo's breed survey is Slovakian, not Czech. The 5/55 is the best that you can obtain. The last 3 number indicates a good temprament, good fight and courage. The first 5 tells you that he is of normal size, the K is long back and the V is sable.
DJ, I have seen good dogs out of both of them. When I got my dogs I didn't get them cuz they were out of certain dogs or certain pedigree, I got them cuz I liked them. I had seen all of my dogs with exception of the pup before I got them (but I had seen Norbo and his off spring so I knew he produced well), liked what I saw and thats how they ended up here with me. I have seen Xero also and liked him as well. We have a Xero son as well as one Grim g-son here as a police dog, they are both excellent dogs.
