I am not very familiar with the DDR lines. I know there are not many that are favored anymore because alot of their working ability has beed bred out of them. But there has to be some good ones left. Does anybody know of any. Are there any police dog candidates?

He's been a national/international competitor for a couple of years now. and so has his brother Scott, who's at vom Haus Lord kennel in Tennessee now. Actually, there are pups on the ground from Scott, and myself and another member here have pups reserved from him (although from different dams).
Mike, It seems that the leg work you did was in the right direction. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I talked with Michael the other day, pups are doing fine. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Still on for the 13th.
Female, Didi van Durshouf the damn of pups not a bad bitch.

and you were making fun of me saying I had to settle for a black & tan? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
not a bad bitch is an understatement, and she's linebred 2-4 on Fado Karthago to boot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Mike, on the Black & Tan pup, it's just that I knew how much you like the Sables. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Never make fun of you or anyone for getting the pup wanted and not being color blinded. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Michael is picking a pup as you suggested/holding pup until we get up there. If I'm lucky we will have a pup or two to choose from.
I think the pup is a Black & Tan. How about that for justice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Now there's two people I'm jealouse of. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I've still got a lot to learn about DDR, Czech, etc.
oldearthdog, hang in there, betwen Mike or myself
hopefully both pups will be worhty of breeding.
I like the Idea of not many GSD's in our area with this line. Mike did alot of leg work researching for both pups. It wasn't a easy decision on choosing a breeder but I feel I made a great decision Only time will prove Mike and I right.
You need to go to the web site and look it over.

well, there's nothing wrong with a B&T as long as it's the dog you want <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
BUT, I still prefer sables and bicolors. Actually, my favorite is a sable so dark that it looks black until you get really close, and has the light sockets around the eyes.
OED, since you've been to Michael's site, take a look at the upcoming breeding of Scott vH Antverpa & Ciska vH Valkenplatz. That's the litter I have a deposit on, just in case you were curious.
