I tried e-mailing them to get info about becoming an evaluator. I did this twice and never received a reply although I ended up on their e-mail list after that.
I have just heard about this P.S.A. and the concept looks good. It is seems more real world then the other sport competitions. There is one competition coming down in my area in November, I may either enter or just evaluate. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. This type of work interests me, just hope the organization is on the up and up.

These Protection sports groups are still new and are arguing among themselves as to how to standardize. Sure wish they would get moving. A friend of mine tested for PPDA a while back. had to travel to mich for that. She enjoyed it very much. She wrote up the senerios but I'm told every senerio is different. As it should be.
the obedience portion is much more in line with SchH and or Ring, as opposed to the other "protection" groups (NAPD, Street Ring, etc)
The protection events were solid, as far as being consistent, and nominally challenging.
I recall one of the "advanced" OB routines involved the distraction of two suited decoys kicking a beachball back and forth.... pretty good distraction, if you ask me.
there were quite a few sends, and a couple of scenarios that require a redirect.. and there is a call-off
I don't remember alot of specifics, but if you have specific questions I might be able to answer...
