Thanks for the reply. Let me try to answer all of your quetions. I can video the dogs because the owner has moved in the last month and we cant find her. I did take photos of the dogs in the back yard and the area of the fence where they dug through but she had rapaired it before we could get pictures.
As for our ordinances the process works like this: if a dog attacks another animal and it is proven, then the dog is considered to be potentional dangerous. the owner needs to take out a $250,000 insurance policy and kennel or chain the dog. Second attack, the dog is classified dangerous and is then confiscated and killed. We do have a animal control offiers report but remember we only have my father as the only witness and she is stating her dogs did not do it, so we kind of have a he said she said situation. i know it sounds like we have the upper hand but i like to have as much support on our side as possible, that why i want the pack info.
Oh, yes we did file a report from the previous case and that is solid, but that animal was given away and was not involved in the recent attack.
Brian,
If you're involved in a civil suit with the person and they move away, you can get their forwarding address from the post office with the legal paperwork used to file the suit. The postmaster will need to see it in person, though.
