just for sh!ts 'n giggles i thought id start a thread for people to say wat breeds you like in SchH and pp etc. i know a whole lot of you obviously like gsds and stuff; we are on a forum owned by people who devode themselves to gsds. so newho lets hear it folks where do your loyalties lie?
oh pls, i didnt open this thread to start arguments or fights as to whos dog is the best or watever this is simply for the fun of it so i can get to know you guys and your dogs.
we all obviously like dogs so lets talk about them
Nice pics Blake I'm not a huge snake person ,so naturally I thought the snakes you have posted were diamondbacks until I read the caption Are they yours, and do you breed them? I'm into reptilians ,but i'm more of a Turtle and lizard person. (still begging my hubby to lemme get some Clemmys Guttata). So far all I have are a trio of Bearded dragons (awesome little lizards).
I'm a fan of the GSD. I originally got into Gsd's when I worked for a show breeder (mostly A.S.S. lines). I can tell you first hand how the show dogs differ from the working. I don't have a GSD of my own to work yet and it probablly won't be another year or so until I do ,but i'm working on it, Doing all that fun research first of course! I've dabbled in the idea of going with a different breed ,but the GSD is by far the best. Right guys and gals?
BTW blake, You can PM me about the snakes. I doubt anyone on a web board based on dogs wants to hear all about them. Except me of course
I have a GSD and have had Malinois as well. I really like the Mal. I also really like the Bouvier des Flanders and the Pit Bull, but haven't owned either one yet.
well, personally, I prefer a DDR/Czech GSD (maybe a little WGR mixed in) for PP, for sport, its hard to beat a WGR GSD. Now, I'm a total GSD nut (and should be fully committed as such), but one of these days, I'm gonna let a "dumpster dog" slip into our "pack". BTW, "dumpster dog" is a term of endearment (I picked it up from a friend), and a nickname for the Dutch Shepherd.
This is a good thread but what about all the great dogs being bred in the USA. Will we ever get over the "I have european blood" How many generations being born in the USA before the line becomes non-european??
I guess it's all about dogs from somewhere else.
