My dog recently had a tumor removed from the top of her front paw. She of course licked it too much when we were away and now is wearing the good 'ol Elizabethan collar. She loves to run (as witnessed by those who attended the Fl Flinks seminar). We play a lot of two ball with her. Also, "Flinks" play. Now she can not do any of that. No running, no playing. We have another week and she is getting very wild. I also think she is getting mad at us for not playing with her. The only thing we have done is play tug with her. Do you guys have any other ideas? I do not want to make her feel like she is being rejected. We pay a lot of attention to her, but in her eyes there is nothing like playing with mom and dad. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
Here's a link to some ideas for scent games. You might be able to find one or two that are low impact, but mentally stimulating enough to get the ants out of her pants. Hope this helps!
