PennHIP views the hips from a distracted position in order to look for hidden laxity that doesn't show up on the leg extended view used with OFA, a stamp and FCI ratings. The thinking is that hidden laxity is a predictor of HD.

There is probably no mention of PENN HIP because it is not as widely done yet.I feel it is the most accurate analysis, but not everyone sees it this way... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Hopefully it will be embraced more as more and more people use it( maybe when it costs a little less!) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
