Well, I suppose it qualifies under the heading of "my dog (and/or his handler?) is a clumsy, bumbling idiot".
I was walking Konig today at a park on Lake Michigan. VERY windy, and I took him to a grassy area near the sea wall instead of his normal walk/OB session on the beach. We walked along the wall, and he trotted out onto the pier. I didn't want him out there, and so gave his recall command. He turned around, and the goofy dolt bumped his butt into part of the pier and fell into the water. He loves swimming, but it's 6 feet from the pier to the water, and there's no ingress or egress points for several hundred yards in either direction.
Long story short, I had to have another guy wait on top of the sea wall while I lowered myself into the (VERY VERY COLD-MAJOR SHRINKAGE EVERYWHERE ) water and clipped his leash to his flat collar. I then tossed the leash up to him, and pushed while he pulled.
So now the dog is out, and this bystander's holding the leash, and Konig is looking at me like "what are you doing in the water? Do you need rescuing? Here, lemme jump in there and help...", almost dragging the other guy into the water, too.
I'm sure I'll have a long chuckle about this some day. Right now I am drinking some very hot coffee and writing down ideas on how to train my dog to be more graceful...
