I have a 14-month old GSD that goes absolutely nuts when he sees the quad runner being taken out and started from the building which is near his kennel. I dont mean he just barks alot, I mean he goes absolutley nuts! I have had to change things around a bit to prevent him from injury. He would leap straight up in the air with his head clearing the 6-foot fence of his kennel, chew on the fencing, turn over his food and water dishes and scoot them across the ground frantically etc... He doesnt really get angry or defensive just excited. I have taken measures so that he is never exposed to it because Im afraid he is going to hurt himself because he does get so cranked up. Does anyone know why he does this, is it his prey drive or what? He does love to play and gets excited with any stimulus but the quad turns him into a manaic.
