Hi everyone,
Khaos my 15mo (male)GSD is a loving dog but is very selfish and dog aggressive. My brother-in-law has a female french mastiff named Lucky Girl. In the past we have taken Khaos to her house and under direct supervision have allowed the two to interact. They play well together being she was the alpha female of her litter and will put Khaos in his place if he gets to rough and will show submission at other times. The question I have is that they(brother-in-law and friend) are coming to spend a few days with us and want to bring Lucky Girl with them. Khaos is an indoor dog, has his own crate as well as a 10x10 outdoor kennel for during the day. Lucky has her own crate and is an indoor dog at home. Being Khaos is an "only-dog" do you think he would react negatively if we tried to immerse Lucky into "his world". Like I said before - they did well on "her" turf. Just looking for some thoughts and advice

You won't really know until you try it. I would introduce both dogs on leash. Put the visiting dog in the back yard first and then bring the other dog out. Let them get to know each other again in the new circumstance and maintain control of the leashes. Make sure that the leashes don't get tangled. If it is going well release one dog and long line the other. I would release the dog that tends to be less dog aggressive. Be prepared to seperate them if there is a problem. Seperate them at the first sign of any problem, and keep them seperated, or try again on the next day. It may not ever work out if they get into it.
If it is a multiple dog household, introduce the dog one at a time.
If you can't be a Good Example, then You'll just have to Serve as a Horrible Warning. Catherine Aird.
Thanks Richard, they are on their way so we will see how it goes. Hopefully well since we are hoping to get a second GSD after Khaos turns 2 years old.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July
