I am getting my 9 week old puppy in about two weeks. I am totally confused as to what to feed her. Watching Leerburg puppy video he suggests raw food (chicken eggs,etc). my old GSD 13.5 that died two weeks ago always ate Ekanuba and later Natures Choice adult dog food. I was always under impression that table food was bad. Please help with suggestions.
Many of us do feed BARF (Biologically appropriate raw food aka bones and raw food) but it is with plenty of study and forethought to ensure the right blend of nutrients.
You can go to the main forum page and there is a section of feeding puppies with many articles. That would be a good place to start and provides discussions on prepared foods as well. In some of the articles there are links to other sites so plenty of information is available on the topic.
