Does anyone know of any professional dog trainer schools like Tom Rose school in Mo. I am interested in one closer to Chicago area. Unfortunately I can't pick up and go down south for 4 months. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Sorry to say, but only Tom Rose's school and Triple Crown Academy near Austin, TX are worth going to for learning to become a professional dog trainer.
There are many other school's that charge as much ( or in some cases more ) than the two above mentioned programs, but the other school's staff and program content doesn't come near what the two top schools offer you.
Shop before you buy....and investigate the other school's closely if you're considering trading a closer location for a training course that will just be a let down for you.
