I have been reading here about corrections and the level 10 correction many of you mention. I had never tried it before with my 1 year old siberian other than when he bites, due to alpha stuff. Well today I was at the mountain and he was over excited for the snow, we were walking down a busy access road and it was very much downhil and icy, he kept pulling and pulling so I gave him a huge correction, from that point on he would not step one foot infront of me, he stuck to my side and kept looking at my face when he started getting a bit fast and he would immediately correct himself and get back to my side. I am so thankful for this, it was just too dangerous for him to get away into traffic and me slip on the ice. Thanks everyone for the great lesson.
