Hello, I would like to hear from others on the board who own a Dog Box (not a vari-kennel, not a wire/plastic crate) but a real dog box that mounts in a pickup or suv.
Im looking at purchasing a 2 compartment box likely with top storage to be mounted in a full size pickup bed and I want advice on sizing of the acutal box and of the dog compartment.
If others on the board could provide what size deminsions (W x L x H)of the box or of the compartments they have.
Suggestions for a manufacturer will also be gladly appreciated.
Kustom Krates (Markus Manufacturing) will build this kind of thing to spec. I have one, and it's literally what some people call "heirloom quality:" that is, it will be around long after I'm gone. Solid as a rock, no rattles. Many of the people at my Sch club have one, and they all love theirs.
You could also check out the one offered by this board's sponsor. I saw a couple examples last fall. Very well made. It even had the kennel's name built into the crate frame. The crate is sized to your specifications. If you want special features such as storage, that can probably be arranged.
