Well, we finally leave for Japan on the 31st. I'm looking for tips on international travel, especially as pertaining to managing the dog's stress-we'll be en route for about 24 hours, with +/- 3 hours layover in Seattle. I think we've got customs and quarantine handled-we have DoD paperwork on the dog and his health checks.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
My posts reflect my own opinions, and not those of the Marine Corps or the United States.
I would get a spill proof water bowl if you don't have one already.
I've traveled here (to Germany) with one of my dogs, plus my mom came to visit and brought her big dog here and back, and everything was fine, although it's not as long of a trip as to Japan! I'll be heading home soon. Good luck, I hope everything goes well for you!
