I've moved this topic out of "French Ring Sports" because, well....it has nothing to do with that forum. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I see that the link for the SDoA is now active. Sort of.
If I was a big backer of this concept, I'd be more than a little worried that the only point of contact listed under clubs is the guy who owns the website. I'd also be concerned that under the judges page is....blank pages.
Actually, 50% of the links, in things that people might consider important, ( like...rules ) is still blank.
The wording about the current search for judges isn't inspiring confidence either.
Also, I worry when their first statement upon entering the main site states "Protection titles without the requirement of tracking” - sorry, that's not a good sign.
From the SDoA website:
"the following are a few major faults that SDA feels have been a part of established dog organizations to date:
" Requirement of tracking for all major titles"
Ummmm....tracking is now consider a fault?
"Events are not spectator friendly, UKC-SDA events will be planned with spectators in mind"
Ummm....oddly, I'd like events to be dog and handler friendly instead. Selfish me!
"Very few or not any exhibitions in a format that is entertaining "
" Umm..I'd think that worrying about present a format that's entertaining to the masses is putting the cart before the horse. I trial to test myself and my dogs abilities.
