Does anyone know anything about these 'breeds'? The King is derived from the GSD, but supposedly has been mixed with other breeds to make the King Shepherd.
The Shiloh Shepherd is supposedly the 'original' GSD.
I was just wondering about them is all.

I have seen one of these. The person told me that it comes from an american line GSD and something else, I believe he said malimute. There is a web site with info on them- King shepherds He basically said they are bred to be big. As for the shiloh shepherd, the following link gives basics. Shiloh shepherd At the bottom of the page it says how the "breed" came about. I personally do not have any info on them.

The King and Shilohs are mutant versions of the GSD, developed in Canada and the USA that is why most of the world hate our version of the GSDs.
We call anything with pointed ears a GSD.
I assume that this was an attempt to make the GSD bigger and better, by breeding a LOL American GSD and Malumute and or Great Pryenes.
Some of them are nice looking dogs but others looks like a rag muffins.
This is just my Opinion not trying to offend anybody.
I am doggy sitting a Shiloh shepherd right now, been doing so for the past 3 years every time her owners go on vacation. To be honest, I am GLAD she is not my dog. What a crappy dog, I'm sorry, she is super skittish, scared of everything, pees all over my house every time there is thunder. They got her from a Shiloh Shepherd breeder in Canada and paid $1000 for her!! I'm sorry but she ain't worth that kind of money, not with the queak nerves she has. My BYB shepherd has better nerves than her!
