Is anyone going to the seminar November 14-20 in north Florida? It is a Phil Hoelcher seminar with about 5 other trainers . You can look it up on the website http://www.dogndive.com.
Seminar cost $950 dollars for the 5 days if you're working a dog. $450 to just watch/audit.
Room & board - $525 for 5 nights as single occup. motel room with meals? Are they putting people up at the Ritz?
( let's see......Motel 6, $49.95 per night, chow for a day...$15 dollars maybe? )
I don't know...$190 per day for just the seminar seems awfully steep in my opinion. And pretty much every seminar is "dusk to dawn" that I've attended.
Everybody is free to charge what they like for any seminar. But that's too rich for my taste, and I attend several dog training seminars a year.
Makes me appreciate the Leerburg Seminars with Bernard Flinks a lot more when I read those prices.
The 5 day workshop I just got done hosting had 3 instructors, was only $160.00, you got continental breakfast each morning and the all important T-Shirt!! We worked out a bulk rate of $59.99 per night at the Holiday Inn for the out-of-towners.
