I'm going with Ron on this one - that dog if it is actually a GSD ( sorry, I'm still doubtful ) is an *undesirable* mutation. It should have been spayed/ neuter ASAP.
To breed that dog was a horrible breech of ethics and the AKC at minimum should ban that kennel.
Of course what am I saying...ethics...AKC...how could I have used those two words in the same sentence? What a garbage organization the AKC is! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

While I agree with you about the AKC, they are merely a paperwork institution and ethics is left to those that breed or register dogs. However, I think there might be some slight of hand going on, if you look close at that registration for the original misfit, you'll see that it's listed as a black & tan...I highly doubt AKC would let that fly if they saw pictures of the dog. And I too think that something slipped into the kennel with that bitch to make some funky looking dogs like that.
